91 years old today. I admire his courage as he sings out against selfishness and dishonesty and calls rich and poor alike to share our basic human values.
Pete's banjo has a message inscribed on the head: "This machine surrounds hate and forces it to surrender!"
Mr. Seeger's banjo once carried a less pacific message: "This machine kills fascists."
